Arlington's 10th Annual Gifts That Give Hope Giving Fair Online Shop open November 23 - December 18

Mark your calendar for November 23rd when the 2020 Gifts That Give Hope Online Store will open! With a variety of gift items to donate on behalf of a loved one, this year you can choose a digital download to print or email, or receive a card in the mail to personalize and send. We are also excited to introduce our first ever online Kids Fair, to teach children the importance of giving this holiday season.

Shoppers receive an electronic or printed card to share with their recipient to denote the gift. Donations range from $15 to $200 and cover items ranging from empathy journals for the Nora Project, which fosters empathy and kindness in classrooms, to a certification course for a mother living at Bridges to Independence, an organization that leads families out of homelessness.

Gifts that Give Hope also includes a special section for children as one of its primary goals is to teach young people about the importance of giving and philanthropy. All gifts in the children's section are $10 and are relatable - two books for low-income children via READ (Read Early and Daily), for example - so that children recognize that need is not limited to adults, and that their contributions matter. A Kindness Calendar running from 11/15 to 12/12 helps children get involved and excited about the Fair too, with daily acts of kindness ranging from leaving a thank-you note for a mail carrier to setting up a virtual chat with someone who might be lonely during the holiday season.

The online shop will be open November 23 - December 18, and shoppers can select electronic certificates or physical cards with gift descriptions to be mailed to them to give meaningful gifts to their loved ones this holiday season.
